    Jackson progressively seeks to assistnew and expanding industry and various types of business. The stability of Jackson is due to a dedicated and productive work force, a commitment to quality supporting institutions, and an overall belief that Jackson is a great place to work, live and play.

    The Jackson Economic Development Corporation (JEDC) is one of the main organizations helping to promote industrial, commercial and other economic development in and around the City of Jackson. Find out more about the JEDC at www.growingjackson.com

    The Jackson Business Development Committee was formed in 1988 to assist with the development and retention of the retail sector business in Jackson. JBDC serves many functions,  including but not limited to: information resources such as  available buildings, services, utilities; low-interest loan program; business visits to discuss plans or concerns of importance to our retail and service sector.
