Cottonwood ~ Jackson Community Health Service

The Health Service is located at 407 Fifth Street in the Jackson County Resource Center.  Enter through the north door (by north parking lot) and immediately take the stairs to the second floor, suite 409.  Some of the services provided to the residents of Cottonwood and Jackson Counties include:  education, nutrition, screening, health and well being, and home health care services.  Phone 507-847-2366.

 

 

 

Jackson County Library

The Jackson County Library is located at the intersection of West Ashley Street and Highway 71.  It is a part of the Plum Creek Library system with branches in Heron Lake and Lakefield.  By clicking on the above link you can search the catalog, place holds, renew books and review your library account.  The library is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 10 am to 8 pm, Wednesday and Friday 10 am to 5 pm, Saturday 10 am to 3 pm, Sunday 1 to 4 pm.  During the summer months the library is closed on weekends.  Phone 507-847-4748.

 

 

 

 

 

Jackson County Parks, Planning and Environmental Services

This office is responsible for the County park system, planning and zoning, environmental services, local water planning, individual sewage treatment systems, GIS, ag inspection, Board of adjustment and the Parks, Planning and Zoning Commission.  Phone 507-847-2240.

 


Jackson Police Department
